Always fancied a change of haircut. My style has been the same for most of my life.
Love the feel of the clippers running the back of my head but always thought what about carrying on and have an all over buzz n see how I like that but taking a gamble incase it doesn't suit me etc etc.
My friend offered to give me a zero buzz (didn't have no clipper combs) once I was back at work due to covid as he felt sorry for me due to no haircut for 3 months. I told him I was ok as I was waiting for hairdressers to open up. I really wanted it done but would rather get buzzed by a lady then a work friend.
This posting by Matt and the title "Looking for a change" that he placed with it on August 30, kind of reminds me of something regarding a longtime friend of mine several years ago. He too also wanted a change.
It is not too common that a bunch of six guys become very close friends for many years and go camping nearly every year since they met. For me personally, I have had that honor and blessing of five guys in my life (three from high school and two since earliest days as a freshman at Michigan State, Go Spartans!!!!)
During college, the ones who did not attend Michigan State, joined the others who did for a camping trip about a week after the school year ended in mid-May. We all became friends, even if some only recently met and did not know them from high school as I did.
When reading here about men making a bold move to get a shaved skin tight fade haircut (be it their first or 100th time as shown in those photos that ProgienicTen posted here), and some guys here asking why would guys do such a thing---going so short, exposing their ears, neck and their heads to say nothing of a sudden whitewall appearance, it reminded me of my good pal Tenny (a private nickname for him because he was a tennis star on campus).
It was May of 2004 when we all just finished our sophomore year of college, some at East Lansing (such as myself, Donny, Jim, and Tenny) and two others at Hope College and Western Michigan University (we were all in-state college boys!) when some of us would have our fourth annual camping trip together (for two others, we met at college, it would be their second camping trip as a group).
All of us usually met at my parents home or at my friend Keith's family home a mile away to get our inventory, luggage supplies accounted for, do a check list for other needed items we would get at a store before heading out of town, and then have a quick brunch before hitting the roads for up north to our usual annual hideaway.
That morning came in May of 2004, and we just waited for everyone to individually arrive one by one to my family home. After Robert showed-up, the very last one to arrive(though not planned, it just turned out that way) was Tenny.
He gets out of his brother's car just barely parked in our driveway when Jim looks over and says "What the hell, don't tell me!!" I glanced over too and I could not believe it. Was that Tenny?
Tenny's brother yells something at him as he approached us with two bags of camping supplies and a pillow in hand. We were shocked. Tenny had shaved his head totally bald, and it was whitewall bald!!
Loudmouth Keith says "Oh my God, you didn't!...come on, do a full turn around man, lets see it." I think some of us said, almost in unison, "why, what happened." It came as a total shock as he never let on or told us in advance that he was thinking of shaving his head, something that he had never done before, at least not during all of the years that I had known him.
Why? "Just for the hell of it, something different" he shrugged. Man, his head was smooth shaven bald and white as possible from the removal of his shaggy hair. The initial shock, long stares, several head rubs and jokes about being bald eventually subsided, except for my hard-on erection that I kept under my untucked shirt. I was just stunned, and quite honestly turned on by his total baldness. it might have been more because of the whitewall look than the up-close viewing of a smooth razor shaved scalp. You could tell it was freshly shaved to the skin bald. I was also shocked he would do it right before our trip, not the day or so before to get used to the shaved head look. The shaved head did not seem to bother him, even if he took off all of that long hair and he never was shaved bald before. For me, I would have wanted ample time to adjust before meeting my friends and go out to do something, especially a camping trip when you were always around the other guys. He just acted like the barber snipped off a half inch of hair from his long hair.
We made it to a grocery store to get last minute extra supplies and we just happened to go through the beauty care and hair isle. Some there with Tenny joked "You probably won't need any thing in this isle." He laughed it off. But we would need bug spray and sunblock---all for Tenny's head which he often did not wear a hat during this trip, but then he rarely wore hats anyway.
To make this late spring vacation story of five and half days short, I found myself so attracted to Tenny's shaven head. I could not believe he would just shave his head at a barbershop about an hour before joining us at my parent's home before leaving on vacation. No wonder why he was possibly late to arrive at my place, as he was shaved bald just before arriving to meet us all there. His brother later told us that he took Tenny to the shop and actually watched his younger brother get shaved bald while others in the barbershop were stunned to witness a guy get shaved bald.
Tenny told us that he just wanted something different and have a clean-cut, no fuss, look for being outdoors for five and half days (even though some of the nights we stayed at my friend's family cabin in northern Michigan. And he got that no fuss hair style, and it was so shocking. The bald look later would have no affect on his summer job at a local golf course and park.
Whenever we all took canoes to trek around the lake, I made sure that I was paired with Tenny so that I could sit behind him to get a close-up view of his shaven head, shining under the sun, ears sticking out, and catching a rare moment when he ran his hand over his shaven head. Besides, he was a better rower than I am, so he was usually seated at the bow with me happily seated at the yoke or stern.
When we did other things while up north, I was always close around Tenny, and I made it seem impromptu, but it was all an effort to really appreciate his sudden shaven head up-close like being seated behind him when he was driving the vehicle or him being seated in the front passenger seat. It is kind of crazy now to think about about that 2004 college vacation trip and how I was suddenly aroused by a friend's shaved head. Would I be attracts to any other shaved bald guy----I was as I later found out. So I think my fetish began on that trip thanks to Tenny, and always thinking why a guy (deep down) would want to have his head shaven.
Among all six of us guys, the one most least likely to shave his head, well besides me, was Tenny since he loved having the longest hair among us--with his beach curled locks always trimmed but still long. It was his only hair style we had known him with, and when he played tennis, he may have been the first to be a man-bun-wearing ace on the courts.
You can see how long and what his hair looked like by watching this young Marine recruit get his head skinned down bootcamp style in this attached video from 2009. Only Tenny actually had his barber take a razor to his head to shave the stubble off. We did ask Tenny why the big change in his appearance, and he said that he wanted it all shaved bald vs a close bootcamp buzz in case he never would shave his head again, at least he got the full bald experience.
Well, in the 16 years since, I can tell you that he never shaved his head again or even had a skin fade or buzzcut. He wears a business cut, his shortest since the bald days of summer 2004 when it took forever for his shaved head to grow out to at least a crewcut look. I recall talkative Keith saying that if he shaved his head, he'd have a crewcut in two weeks as his hair grows fast. Only Tenny has ever shaved bald among us. I always wanted to if only to satisfy my fetish and my curiosity, but never did. I hope none of these guys views this message posting here.
On a personal note, while all of the other guys including Tenny himself seemed to just get over the shaved head appearance after first observing it with shocked eyes, I was just aroused all the time and I could not help but be fixated at him, and using any fun playful opportunity to rub his head without making it seem I wanted to feel his shaved head. It was then I realized to myself, that they all could care less about his shaved head, while I learned I had a shaved head fetish that I didn't think I had. I did not feel normal.
During any time I could find by myself alone on this trip and when under the closed tent at night, I would masturbate about Tenny's shaved bald head. Not about him per se, and his body, but his shaved head. One fantasy was a bald Tenny in the nude (or just shirtless with underwear on) shaving my head as I sat naked in a chair. Both of us would have erections when standing up to hug after he shaved my head at the sink but we never touched out genitals or did anything sexual. It was a repeated jerk-off fantasy that I could not get out of my head for months and months, at least. Even years later, it occasionally pops in my head, probably like tonight now that I just refreshed my memories of Tenny being bald on that vacation.
I felt that I was the only one with this fetish, and I have no clue why it took bald Tenny to make me realize it, as obviously I had seen shaved heads before (tv, movies, online pictures, etc., and even some on men walking on campus). It was perplexing as it was for me to think and wonder why men would want to go totally shaved bald like that or get super exposed skin tight fade haircuts, do they have a secret fetish too, disguised as "Oh, I just want to try it" or "just to keep cool in the summer."
So Matt, when you say you want a new look and get buzzed shorter, is there a fetish bug in you that is making you to want to do that?
And the same for ProgienicTen when you brought up enjoying a high and tight haircut. How long have you had a haircut fetish of any kind, and when did you recognize it, and are you making it worse by getting the high and tight haircuts that turn you on? And as for me "wanting to run your fingers up and down frequently to feel the short stubble. You should try it sometime"....I am like Nelson, kind of nervous to go that short. But you make it seem so easy and enjoyable. When do you have time to run your hands or fingers up your buzzed head?
In the 16 years since that vacation trip with my bald-eagle buddy, we managed to have many more group camping trips (though some years it was alternating guys who were able to arrange their schedules and married family life, anywhere from just three of us to all six of us together).
Because of COVID-19 three months ago, and some of the guys being on work furlough, it was a great chance for all six of us men to go camping together in the hidden woods of northern Michigan, where the only virus bugs we had to worry about were the pesky mosquitoes---something we teased Tenny about in 2004 when he had that smooth shaven head. Bugs seemed to like him more than the other five guys that week!! We had plenty of sunscreen to use for him, and I even managed to rub some on his bare head (while hiding my erect cock)!!!
I don't think any of the guys noticed my fetish, but it almost kind of ruined my five day vacation in 2004 as I was so obsessed over being attracted shaven bald head.
Regardless of having a head shaving/haircut fetish, I am still very blessed to have five very close great friends, some of whom have been in each other's weddings, have little backyard family gatherings, arrived after baby arrivals, attended other family member funerals, and other big events in our lives. But 2004 was an unforgettable vacation for all six of us, especially for me when I found another hidden personality inside me that I hope others do not learn about.
PS--I love watching this shaggy "Goldilocks" Marine Corps recruit get the clippers all over his head with hair falling around him and then chunks of clipped hair cascading down when he gets out of the chair. He got peeled. That barber just twists that recruit's head to get that dirty hair shaved down to stubble. Awesome. I wish I could have seen Tenny get clipped at the barbershop before our trip to say nothing of when he got the head razor shaved bald. Notice how the USMC recruit is kind of meek acting at the very end of this 2009 video as he has his bootcamp-buzzed head brushed at the door and he leaves the room with a severe short but comfortable haircut.leaves the room with a severe short but comfortable haircut. Would Buzz Life forum readers Faded, Matt, ProgienicTen, and Tye like this kind of a haircut (or had it before)?

In terms of common sense, do not post replies to such videos or photos saying things like “sexy handsome man without hair” or “better ####ing shave it next time” or any other suggestive or inappropriate comments. This only does many things. It makes the user remove the video due to being “creeped out” by said comments, look to see where the user found their video (and can see terms searched, such as headshaving, male haircut, and even links from this board). It only brings out a negative view of our community and makes us more noticeable, rather than keeping it quiet. Keeping it quiet is best, it allows us to continue sharing content without people starting to think “will I get creepy people send me stuff”. To sum it up, don’t be a creep on other people’s videos. Saying you look good such as “nice haircut” is acceptable; saying “you look sexy handsome with that new haircut :-*” is unacceptable. I cannot control what you post on other websites, but please keep your true comments to yourself, or as we often see, “This video has been removed by the user” will pop up. But if you are going to post a YouTube link, write a quick thing next to the link (moptop shorn) or reference where you got an image from (i.e., post a link and the image) so we can see it easier if there is problem. Only goes to help us out more!
