The Princess showed the group around her home herself and had many anecdotes to share.
The Princess then received a copy of the well-known book 25 Chapters of my Life (the memoirs of Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna by Paul Kulikovsky, Karen Roth-Nicholls and Sue Woolmans) which may have well inspired her to start writing her own memoirs too
The Princess’s great-grandmother, Empress Marie Feodorovna was Queen Alexandra's sister. Princess Olga’s father, Prince Andrew Romanoff, the eldest nephew of Tsar Nicholas II, passed down a fund of stories to his daughter.
These stories, many of them unknown outside the family, will now be incorporated in Princess Olga’s book and published by Shepheard-Walwyn in October 2017.
