I agree with you that it is hard to find proper biographies in English about royals form Germany. However I find the van der Kiste books on them usually agr eat disappoint,net as he never travels, never consults primarzy sources and merely gives an English point of view on them. I suppose still better than nothing but one should be aware that this is certainly not the full picture
