the book was a huge disappointment for me.V d Kiste write very fast and writes eleoquently, but he merely presents the English view. He does not travel as much as I know, does not use the German sources and lots seems to be using existing books and pulling information together. If one does not know a thing about the subjects, the book might be fine, but as soon as one knows a wee bit, the book and other works are a waste of time. I do not take his work anymore seriously and will not buy any books by him.
