Diana de Cadaval presented her new book "Palácios e Casas senhoriais de Portugal" last week at Palácio Nacional da Ajuda.

She visited c. 60 palaces and manor houses which she describes in her book.

Many remain in their original families, some have been converted to Turismo de Habitação, where guests are entertained by the manor's owners, other converted to hotels or museums.
