Scott - the number of legal immigrants allowed into the US annually was established by congress in 1952 with the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). This has been amended over the years, but there is an annual limit on legally admitted immigrants. I don't contest the numbers that Paul cited.

Those who hope to benefit by the influx of millions via illegal entry are those states who gain representation in the House of Representative by increasing their population numbers. Census counts all residents, both legal and illegal and numbers of congressional seats are determined by total population. This also determines how many electoral votes a state gets and that will effect the outcome of a presidential election. So it's the states that take in more illegal immigrants that benefit from the invasion. That would be so-called "blue" states, so Trump and Miller are correct in asserting that it's Democrats who benefit from open borders. No gas-lighting on that issue at all.

As for both parties pushing for border walls - how did you miss the fact that in Trump's first term he pushed for more border wall construction and material was purchased to pursue that. Biden then ended that effort and even sold off most of the material for pennies on the dollar. Trump secured 46 billion in funding to restart the process with no support from Democrats (I call them Demon-Rats) for his "Big Beautiful Bill."

As for the administration's handling of the deportation issue, I refer you to my post above. ICE would not be visible if sanctuary cities and states would allow them to take the criminals they're looking for directly from jail. Judge Hannah Dugan is a prime example of the reason ICE is having to look for these criminal illegal immigrants in the neighborhoods. Thankfully she got convicted for her action, but Frey and Walz and others protecting illegals should take notice. Maybe they're next!

On your issue of bombing boats that are bringing drugs into our country - you think they should be allowed to reach their port of delivery? So, are you a customer? Yes, we do have laws against illegal drugs and stopping them before they get here is law enforcement.

And you're right - you shouldn't throw the word "fascist" around glibly as a reference to Trump. The term accurately describes Mussolini and Hitler, but going down your list of defining characteristics - none apply to Trump. Just because he defines himself as a Nationalist does not make him a fascist. Make America Great Again is a great goal, a great slogan and I wear my red hat proudly. God bless America!
