Hudson Brothers
|
According to my published discography (see p. 372 in "Tales From The Road") we only released 45's during my tenure. I have 2 on Jerden Records listed, one on Scepter and one on Decca. I know there were more than that, but I've lost some over the years. No albums tho. My first involvement with them was in 1966 while I was at UCLA. The group's manager, Jim Bailey, booked a session in LA for them and he hired me to write string arrangements for the session. The string players were friends of Bailey's from the Lawrence Welk orchestra. A year later the brothers asked me to join the group replacing their rhythm guitar player.
