Pardon me for not checking in here more often - I'm pretty lame about communicating. RE: Rita Hayworth, you can google her history for detail, but my connection allegedly is thru my Grandfather who was a cousin of Rita's mother. Wikipedia differs from our family story in that our family name is spelled "Haworth." Family history tells that when Rita took her mother's maiden name as her stage name (as opposed to using her father's name, Cansino) her manager encouraged her to change the spelling to "Hayworth" so people would pronounce it correctly. Maybe I should have done the same, cuz when I check in at a hotel I'm often greeted with "Hello, Mr. Hah-hah-hah-worth" or "Mr. Hawthorne." My favorite is "Mr. Haywire."
