As for any further compensation coming from Mr. Marvin, no - not gonna happen. He's pretty full of hot air and I believe nothing he says, including his claim that Josh quit. The fact that he called me and inquired about my possible availability to take the Nick Reynolds role a week before the vacancy occurred indicates to me that he was planning to get rid of Josh. Again, I'm puzzled about the legality of that based on my understanding of the license agreement. I sense we may hear more about their relationship, and I have a sense that Josh must have equal rights to the use of The Kingston Trio name and brand.
P.S. - yes very cool to have Bill Mumy post here, in addition to all of you who have climbed aboard. Hope to hear more from all of you - I welcome all discussion on matters related to the music biz and The Kingston Trio specifically.
P.P.S. - Happy Spring, everybody!
