There was a family with a darling little child, who strummed along on Bob's ukelele for a bit - a show stealer! A fellow named Matt, who has just moved to Medford (Matt and his wife intend to start gigging locally), sat in and sang a couple of Trio classics, "Where Have All The Flowers Gone" and "The Merry Minuet". A rather pleasant fellow named Jerry (sp?), one of Bob's guitar students, played guitar on "The M.T.A." and "Tom Dooley" - aside from feeling like a fish out of water, I had a great time!
Thanks, Bob, for putting up with me, and helping me to shake off some of the cobwebs. And thanks, Meri, for your patience in getting me to the gas station, bailing me out of a situation where I stupidly ran out of fuel right in front of the venue. Old age must be creeping in (I shoud say, "stomping in")! I plan to be doing some recording this Winter, and hope Bob will join us on a few of the tunes. I'm beginning to like Medford!
