The Brothers Four (as well as some other groups of the era) recorded a song called "Everybody Loves Saturday Night." I've listened to the BroFo version of this song over and over and there are some sections where the lyrics are undecipherable to my ear. So your mission, should you chose to accept it, is to fill in the blanks for me.
FYI, according to my research, this song was originally a protest song from Nigeria. It seems that Pete Seeger translated it and turned into the song that several groups recorded. The original Nigerian lyrics are:
BOBO WATO FERO SATODEH
BOBO WARO FERO SATODEH
BOBO WARO BOBO WARO
BOBO WARO BOBO WARO
BOBO WARO FERO SATODEH
(In the BroFo version they pronounce it "BOBO WATO")
Translation
CHORUS:
EVERYBODY LOVES SATURDAY NIGHT
EVERYBODY LOVES SATURDAY NIGHT
EVERYBODY ? ? ? ? ? ?
? ? ? ? ? BOBO WATO
EVERYBODY LOVES SATURDAY NIGHT
ALL WEEK LONG I WORK & WORRY
THEN COMES PAYDAY – HURRY HURRY
DOWN WHERE OLD AND NEW FRIENDS MEET
RUN TO THE CORNER DOWN THE STREET , CUZ
CHORUS
COME & BE MY ONE & ONLY
NEVER MORE BE LONELY LONELY
DANCE ALL NITE & THEN ? ? ?
HOME IN THE MORNIN’ SIDE BY SIDE, CUZ
CHORUS
Here's a link to a recording of the song to help you. See if you can catch the missing lyrics.
