Hate is a little strong. Truth be told, I'm not really a fan of flathead banjos in general-I own one, and ended up putting a wooden tone ring in it(similar to your seven string). I think we can agree that a good Tubaphone is pretty darned hard to beat.

O.K., I admit it....I'm a gear weenie. I'm fascinated by great guitars, and the mechanics of what makes them great.

Nobody in the average audience knows a $20 guitar from a $20,000 guitar. They just wanna see a great show, and you've got that part covered.

For what it's worth, I really like Mossman guitars.
