I shared some words inspired by John on the occasion of his passing. This photo tribute inspired me to flesh them out.
With your kind permission....
We are as ants, scurrying about on our daily missions
Insulated by illusions of our own importance.
Our anthills fill the canyon cracks and crevices.
And we remain
Unaware of the Giants Unseen.
Time carved the cracks
The Wind carved the canyons.
While the Giants still walk the Earth
And we remain
Unaware of the Giants Unseen
Giants have shaken the world with their steps
Giants shape the Wind with their whispers.
Giants know eternity and Giants see anthills
And the ants remain
Unaware of the Giants Unseen
I, of all ants have been blessed;
I, of the ants am among the chosen
Giants have revealed their faces to me
While most ants remain
Unaware of the Giants Unseen
Lightning from a Giant's eyes struck me
Electrifying the blood in my veins
And I was changed forever when a Giant took my hand
And I cannot remain
Unaware of the Giants Unseen
(We love and miss you, John! R.I.P.)
