Last year, I talked to Bob about my upcoming 30th anniversary and how I felt I would not have made it in life without the help and support of my wife Grace. Bob asked me for more information and out of our conversations and e-mails he developed what I consider to the most touching love song I have heard in years. This is Bob Haworth at his best. He wrote the lyrics, arranged the melody and supervised the final post production to bring the world this fantastic song. A sample clip and information on purchasing for immediate download is availabe under New Songs at this site. (See link below). For those of you who are not into downloading, Bob will send you a CD single for $5.99, again with $1 going to programs trying to cure Parkinson's. The fact that my wife and I had a part in inspiring Bob to do this song is an ultimate thrill. I want to publicly thank Bob for this wonderful gift he has brought to the world in this song. The fact that he is making sure proceeds go to a great cause is --- well -- here is where words fail me. For any of you confronting an anniversary with the question of what gift to present to your spouse of many years, may I suggest getting this song? It will be a huge surprise and guaranteed to produce a gusher of tears. I know, from personal experience. Again, thank you Bob for the wonderful gift of music you give to the world. From the wild and crazy bust-a-gut laughing songs like Grazin' In The Catbox and Santa Claus Got Stuck In Our Chimney to the biting and right on Can You Get Me In? to this wonderful romantic ballad, you show a range of talent that is simply unsurpassed by any musician I have ever known. I've said it before and I will say it again. You are the finest musician in the country today - hands down. While other musicians greedily seek every dime from their records and performances, what you are doing today raising money for the causes you believe in is so different and refreshing. God bless you Bob and of course, your wonderful wife Meri as well. I suspect a lot of the emotion in the song Without You reflects that wonderful woman in your life as well. Link: New Songs
