Oooh! Bob having political discussions...are you sure you were in the "Kingston" Trio?

But seriously folks...I started a rather inflammatory thread a while back saying, “how could the real Chad Mitchell Trio open for the replacement Kingston Trio?” Now, we have an all replacement Limeliters group. With no member in for more than about 2-years. At least George Grove has been in the KT longer than anyone except for Bob Shane. I’ve always like the Limeliters…frankly more than the Kingston Trio (no offense Bob)…when the group was Red Grammar, Lou and Alex…you couldn’t touch them…never saw them with Rick or Bill… But, I don’t how they could have even seem to be legit without out Lou. Anyway, now NO Alex! Maybe it’s time some of these groups—sans ANY original member—should think about just retiring their brand name. Keeping in mind, this is only one man’s opinion.
