To me it's hypocritical to allow these people to stay here without some kind of punishment - a fine at the very least, while last week on the CU Campus in Boulder a very odd thing happened. There's a tradition called 4:20 Day (something like that) where at 4:20 on a particular day in April college campuses are over-run with pot-smoking students, lighting up in public. Traditionally the cops stand around and watch, taking no action - shades of Haight-Ashbury. This year the CU authorities decided to take photos of people at the event and subsequently offered $50 to anyone who could identify somebody in these photos. Now, why couldn't the INS have done that at today's rallies? They could've rounded up a bunch of them today, I'm sure. But the problem is, they don't know what to do with them. The local law enforcement agencies won't cooperate and offer jail space, so they just let them go. We have toothless laws, and these people are immune to gumming! Thanks for checking in to my board here. Sorry it's been inactive, but I've been busy with several different projects and have neglected my site. I need to be more active here and keep our little community alive!
