Ah, the times they are a-changin'! Just to bring those who haven't followed the Lime's metamorphosis up to speed, Mac Bailey and Andy Corwin replaced Rick Dougherty and Bill Zorn during the big Limeliter shake-up of 2004, which led to Alex bringing the lawsuit against Bill, Rick, Jerry Lonn and Glenn Yarbrough. Mac is quite well known for his John Denver Tribute show, and Andy is a long-time LA guy who has been a member of "The Foremen." Both are very talented performers and their version of the Limes is very high quality. Andy, who plays bass, is very reminiscent of Dr. Lou, and even does a fabulous cover of "Have Some Madeira".

Gaylan Taylor is a Phoenix boy and a school buddy of Bill Zorn's. He's going to be replacing Alex at some point. Alex is featuring him on some up-coming gigs to break him in, as Alex phases out. I wouldn't be surprised to see Gaylan on the Prescott date, which is a co-bill with The Trio. This would alleviate the possibility of sparks flying between Alex and his former partners, who are now the Kingston Trio. And I'm my own grandpa.
