Ya know E dog....
Posted by DONOVAN on May 3, 2012, 16:15:17
Truth be told....I understand how you feel right now.....I just got sick and tired....and usually only tried to put stuff up that was entertaining. I am actually sorry if ANY "INNOCENT" people have been offended....BUT...I don't take $hit off of anyone....And I AM gonna be in Hawaii in NOVENBER.... like I promised.....I am a man of my word....SORRY AGAIN if my recent "hijacking" of the board has offended you...I certainly didn't mean to offend YOU..or others...I DO mean to offend MATI.....and That's just the way it is...but I am going to leave it all alone until NOVEMBER........|
Question for Donovan

Do you believe when raising a pup one can control and or eliminate dog aggression ?|
Posted by DONOVAN on May 3, 2012, 18:40:19, in reply to "Question for Donovan"
Obviously I DO control highly dog aggressive animals..I have DEMONSTRATED it here .Its a BIG part of my business........The "TRUE NATURE" of the dog will however NOT be changed.....and the degree to which it can be controlled is based on TWO basic factors: 1 The LEVEL or "DEEP-NESS" of the instinctive drive 2: The handlers ability to master and apply techniques that "control" the dog. I routinely control very dog/people aggressive dogs...like I said...ITS MY JOB!....so YES....it can be controlled...and it does NOT have to be started when the dog is a PUPPY....but if the drive runs deep in the dog....Then it will always be his "nature"...and he can only be trusted under direct supervision.....or a terrible "accident" certainly may occur.... |
Re:AWSWER...... ahhhh. so it can be controlled

When i told you about my struggles with DA in my dp you told me " if they have DA theres nothing you can do about it." After spending a grand on a pup this was the advice you gave me. I think youll want to answer this post by saying "with professional help one can control DA." bullshit on this "professional crap." |
After hanging with the likes of HB and several others like Edog who really did want to spend some time helping me learn i now will put myself and my ability to train and control a pup up against any "professional trainer." And its only cost me a few beers. You did offer to ship me another dp to which i declined. Ive always been disapointed by your answer since learning better. Especially disappointed by your answer today which is word for word YES IT CAN.
And BTW on our hunting weekend i discovered some DA in my CC i did not know was there. How simple it was to show my CC she does not ever want to exhibit any DA. And since that weekend she's been great. Knowing what i know now i couldve whipped that DA out of my dp vs rehoming her.

I have some questions . |
When you say TRUE NATURE are you talking about dogs like some bully breeds which have deep dog aggression? I think those dogs cannot change to any degree.
What about plain straight dominant dogs--those that are tolerant towards dogs that won't challenge them in any way? I think these are hard cases because the dominance often carries over to humans as well as other dogs. Foxx is unique in that he is dominant towards other dogs & people but has a ton of pack drive which I had to learn to tap into.
Then the learned aggressor--the dog that has learned that aggression results in the dog getting what he wants--whether the dog had a bad experience with another dog while young, frustration, possessiveness etc. I think these are the only dogs that can be helped to any extent. Although after the first aggressive incident, there's always more of a chance bites will occur again. These are the dogs Jack helps because Jack is so confident & happy, he doesn't even care.

It depends on the "SOURCE" of the issue. I was referring to "DEEP GENETIC" dog aggression which I believe that JEFF was dealing with.I am happy for him that he found a solution.....I didnt believe that he would have been able to change it without my help...and I was too far away and knew of no one to refer him to....|
not if we cant see the dog "before"
Posted by MaTi on May 3, 2012, 21:50:36, in reply to "Re:AWSWER......"
You simply showed a dog trained with heavy e. There were no loose dogs running around. A controlled environment doesn't exploit the problem very well. |
No one knows how bad the dog was to start with because you didn't provide any "before" documentation.
You did not demonstrate how to deal with it at all. Id still like to see how much DA that GSD had.
Unless, you expect us to simply take your word for it.

I will show the dog "BEFORE"....because you dont "believe" the owners description....|
DOM U owe NO apology to e dog or anyone else
Posted by Jennifer on May 3, 2012, 18:56:39, in reply to "Ya know E dog...."
First off Dom and I have been members and a part of this board since day one over 12 years. It seems to me that others are acting LIKE THEY own the board NOT you. All you have done is respond to jokers WHO KEEP TRYING TO CALL YOU OUT(unsuccessfully). we HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO STICK UP FOR OURSELVES every RIGHT.In my opinion you have never tried to sell one dog on this site NEVER and we don't get any commercial training from this site and DON'T send commercial clients here. You have been pushed to the limit after trying to ignore this jerk for years. I am perplexed by E dogs comments but truly could care less. E dog has been the one on numerous occasions who asks for your opinion. You never give advice to anyone on the board HAVE always complimented people on their accomplishments and videos. If you did not agree with someone's methods you said nothing ( I know this for a fact). IMO u owe no apology have only stuck up for yourself. We were here long before these guys ever heard of the board THEY are not the owners or moderators. As far as me being banned I could care less if I did but its pretty funny I should be banned for what STICKING up for my friend who I know is the most talented dog trainer in the U.S. and that's my honest opinion (you have every right not to agree and I have every human right to feel this way). I should be banned for what not allowing Mati to just keep talking bad about us..Mati should be banned he gets on here shows zero of his skills and just bashes people that are actually training and breeding not just talking. He has made the board a battle ground NOT YOU. He has been asked nicely to please ignore us he REFUSES TO. Hell even the thread jon wrote directed to u he just has to comment on...come on please e dog give me a break...also I know u were just joking back with Jon on his post. what a bunch of sensitive men holy cow.....u guys must all be premenstrual ....don't stop anything on the board unless u want to....and if people wanna dish it out they need to be able to take it....This is a public forum they wanna write what they want but u cant F-CK that..... |
go away please

You got on Michelle's thread just to insult. You didn't even watch the clip.|
I've been calling out DD for years as polite as I can. You two reply with insults nothing more. I'm still going to question anything that seems fake.
Unfortunately for you that's most all you post.
Why don't you guys advertise on your own board? What happened over there?
I have been checking out this board from 98' if I'm not mistaken. I've been here more than 10 yrs also.
