The following was written by a rottweiler owner describing this technique:
"This is Ruger doing his job. From the time Ruger was very young he was trained to protect the car. NO CAR JACKERS ALLOWED HERE...with past experience we had to train for car protection. My car even has a BEWARE OF DOG sign on the back. Ruger however will not attack unless instructed to do so. He is a smart boy as he can also open and close doors follow all hand commands, bring me the remote, find my keys, find his ball (favorite toy), and is beginning training for swim rescue. So far he is doing great at swimming. Search and rescue training has also been started!!!!! He's my boy."
