I am still trying to figure out how a dog that sees the same pressure from a helper as the next dog, and is not affected by it, maybe doesnt even register it as pressure at all, is considered as not real enough.
I think that most of those guys have not really seen good powerful malinois, that are bred to fight people as a main part of thier function...
I have gone round and round with people about the power of prey/fight model. Doberman people, some gsd people, that say Mals are all prey..
and the other thing is they feel that this real pressure is more applicable to SCH only. for the reasons that BIGDOG stated.
They are forgetting the esquives and barrages a good FR decoy can give, or the courage tests that the KNPV has, it is all still just "prey" attraction to them..why fault a dog that goes through that, even in prey, and hardly seems to notice the pressure at all?
then comes the "stick hits" argument.....
