IMO, its almost always a fault of the human and not the dog. A dog is just a few steps from being a wolf. Its a rudimentary animal. Mother nature. We manipulated dogs to this point, but now we can't??? The breeder needs to go intervene and handle this shit, but the owners need to go find a real trainer. Heres an example w/o promoting myself, because I am a nobody. No expert here. But I know what I know. I knew a guy who breeds presa's that perform par excellence. He sold one to a guy in cali. The dog was a terrorist. To people and especially other dogs. He got the dog back and replaced it. He couldnt handle it. I got the dog from him.
In less than 2 weeks the dog walked and acted like a damn cat. Zero aggression to people or animals. No leash pulling. This 147 lb. presa went from being a psycho maneater to a very controlled animal that knows its place, especially around kids. Bottom line: We need to train the people just as much as we train the dogs. Dog problems are usually people problems.
Good dogs are born, great dogs are made.
