I agree w/ most of what you say, however. Most boarding and training facilities I've gone to and asked to see their contract says specifically that they will not be responsible for your animal becoming ill and/or injured while in their care. Some of them stated the facility had the option of transporting the animal to a veterinarian should it become ill or injured, and if the animal dies, again they are not responsible. I've not seen all three on the same contract, but any combination of those can be found. Up to owners to READ and be okay w/ it. And/or leave specific instructions and have the owner of the facility sign that. Of course I opted to not to board there, but usually its in the writing. If the facilities contract states this then those charges could essentially be dismissed.
