that incident was just another reason i waited to do any protection with him..we worked more on control..control control control...
he's odd in the sense he still will blast into a stranger or friend..hurling his whole body at them to say 'hi' (much to my chagrin..we have worked and worked and worked on this..and i am no softie of a handler i assure you!)..anyway..once he's slammed you..if you do the normal thing of wanting to push him off you..well..he assumes you want to rock then and gets shitty really quickly..so i have been very very hard on him for this..but overall very social..good with kids..cats are considered food to him..but fine with other dogs etc..overall a nice dog with tons of potential..has such a nice civil edge to him...makes the drive he has a little more easy to tolerate
