Your constant posts and promotion rubs all but the moderator and owner of the board, and one or two of your closest friends, the wrong way. If your dogs are the best dogs in the world, and I am not saying they're not because brother I like what I've seen, it would behoove you to get down off the high horse and let the dogs speak for themselves. I don't know if it's a cultural difference or what, but no one likes someone that sounds like a braggart, maybe it's a New York bravado thing..even if it's partly or even mostly true about your dogs. I'm not judging from your words. I'll judge your dogs by what other people say, as will others on the board. It hits people WRONG. Steve was on here working your dog and that was great. And not saying you shouldn't do it sometimes, but man...It brings out the 8000 watt Klieg lights on every thing that you have ever been involved with in your past, you know? You bring this attention to yourself, not Mati. The more you talk about the 100s of litters the more people wonder where the thousands of pups are that must be out there, the owners of those would more benefit you by posting than the creator of the breed, although I think on your own forum it's understandable a bit more, maybe. I give the benefit of the doubt because I have pups out there owned by people that wouldn't spend two seconds on a dog forum...I'm not slamming you, I'm telling you why you ALWAYS invite with engraved invitation, people to question you and even be openly hostile to you. I'm telling you this because you act surprised when people have enough. Because I've got to tell you, people wonder where all the dogs are that aren't shown. That's one critique, the matter of the lack of modesty. The false modesty, whatever it is. The other is that if you have the dog world by the balls what are you doing posting one post after another on a dog forum? HOw do you even have time with all the dogs? I'm not slamming you, I've done what you have done (bragged on my dogs). I"m on here now and I should be outside. I've done what you and Mati both have done...been at war on a dog forum that took up post after post for a while. But this has gone on FAR too long. I just think that it ought to stop. IF people start posting again, maybe you yourself could post 1/100 less on this one, more on your own, let others post about your dogs so that when someone else does post on this one it's not buried in 5 minutes by Donovan this and that. Not to say you shouldn't post, brother, you should. There is interest in your dogs, but you have over saturated the board with it. You are your own worst enemy of the Donovan Pinscher in my opinion. There might be merit with what you said that you only did it while no one else was posting. But if you post all day, Mati argues with all of them, where does that leave the board of lurkers and members who would abso####inglutely love to see OTHER dogs and hear about lines and see owners working in whatever endeavor they enjoy? I KNOW you don't slam anyone else's dogs or training, Dom, and I admire that greatly. I KNOW you have more experience than I'll ever have with training, and different breeds. I respect that. But I see why conflict follows you, and if I am a friend to you or Mati either one, I think it's time I pointed it out. Forgive a friend, Dom, and I want Mati to forgive a friend for my posts. But more than that, I want y'all to forgive your enemies. That goes a lot further for YOU guys, even though it's a lot harder, I know it would be so worth it for both of you. You don't have to forget it or like each other. But instead of a hateful place to visit, I'd like to see some dogs, yours', but also about 100 others in a year's time or so. Not just yours', unless I visit your forum, which I will do if I am welcome.
