Thanks for the support. Not offended at all. I'll take a pedigreed dog any day over a "pure breed". I feel function over form that is how it was done originally and how it is done most effectively. I feel if Dom, closes the bloodline eventually he will lose out on dogs who could bring a lot to the table.
I don't think Dom, has breed to a lot of pits I believe it was just selective breeding for terrier traits. Mati a GOOD Pit is hard to beat, trust me.I'd take a good pit any day... What did you never own pits? They are tough I disagree with the whole easily broken bones statement you made. They are tough and quick, effective lil workers. I'd pitch these "pits" against most these mastiff bandogs, and would put my money on the pits/DP, almost any line of work. The line draws at man work, for the pit and this is where the Donovan shines, right along with these defense mastiff dogs.
