Tom Riche and Lucero's Jaws of Working Class K-9
Re: What was your "PROTECTION" score???
I appreciate you sharing the video for everyone to see. I CAUTION you on the "critique" part....just stick with ONE opinion...The guy YOU are paying!....TOO many "opinions" are the WORST thing ever!..I wont even give mine...except to say THANK YOU for working my dog. Thank you for supporting my program.....Thank you for posting video footage so others might learn from both what you did correctly...as well as some of your BEGINNERS errors. YOU are doing FINE. The dog is only a little over ONE....and you have already got a title on him with your FIRST working dog!...THAT'S GREAT!...don't get "down" about your OBEDIENCE...STUDY IT!...you PASSED...it had to be "satisfactory" at least....and the S.D.A entry level obedience is MORE demanding than its protection.....SO...it all makes sense to me
...The dog looks like he has PLENTY of what it takes....and you will learn a LOT from him during your "journey".....and you will become a much better handler/trainer as you go along!...YOU ARE MOTIVATED!....and that is more than HALF of what it takes.....CONGRATS AGAIN!....a passing performance on your very first try ever! I know dudes doing this for YEARS who fail MISERABLY in entry levels....There is absolutely NOTHING to feel bad about....
