Here we are the end of the season and a lot if these Seniors won’t be around next season. It’s a bittersweet moment as they age out. Before the season I predicted the Final 4 and I got 1 out of 4 right. Well really, I got 2 out of 4 right. I just picked the wrong North Austin team. Overall this season, I got 37 correct picks and 14 wrong this season which is 72.55% correct. That brings my Senior Division total up to 243-73. Let’s jump into my final picks for this season:

Fiesta Bowl – Playoff Match Up – Bastrop over Hutto – This should be a great game. Both teams are playing very good football, but I like Bastrop’s defense to win this game.

Peach Bowl – Playoff Match Up – Leander over North Austin Blue – This is a Week 1 rematch that saw Leander win 20-12. I will take Leander for the same reason as the Fiesta Bowl and that’s because of Leander’s Defense.

Rose Bowl – Kyle over East Austin – This is a Week 6 rematch that saw Kyle win 34-19. I won’t be surprised if East Austin gets the win, but I’ll take Kyle in a close game.

Sugar Bowl – Unity over Georgetown – I am basing solely on name brand. I don’t know what to think of Georgetown overall but at least Unity knows how to win.

Orange Bowl – North Austin Green over Round Rock Yellow – This is a Week 8 rematch that saw a great game with Round Rock Yellow winning 7-12. In any close game, the second game should be better. I believe North Austin Green will get the win in a close game.

Cotton Bowl – Elgin over Del Valle – This is a Week 2 rematch which saw Elgin win 14-13. Del Valle has struggled to score points and has given up a lot. I believe Elgin will get the win by more than 1 point.
