Welcome to Week 9 of the season, also known as Makeup week. Rain is in the forecast as the regular season comes to an end. I have put all my picks into this post since there are not many games. This weekend could throw everyone off if we get some upsets. Juniors have no teams playing this week. Let’s look at my picks:

Senior:

#1 Bastrop over #3 North Austin Blue – OFFICIAL SENIOR GAME OF THE WEEK – This is a Pre-Playoff game that North Austin Blue needs to win. Bastrop is having their best season I have ever seen, and a win here gives them their first undefeated team in the Senior Division. I’ll take Bastrop by 9 points.

#2 Leander over #7 Georgetown – This is a make game from Week 2. Leander has been playing lights out football and I see no problem with Leander getting the win in this one by Mercy Rule.

#9 Unity over #10 Elgin – Pick your poison. I’ll take Unity by 15 points.

Rookie:

#3 Bastrop over #4 Del Valle – OFFICIAL ROOKIE GAME OF THE WEEK – In games where Del Valle plays teams with winning records, they don’t play well. Bastrop lost in Week 1 to Georgetown. I’ll take Bastrop by 32 points

#2 Hutto over #6 Leander – Hutto shouldn’t have any issue this weekend and I’ll take Hutto by Mercy Rule.

#5 Georgetown over #8 Kyle – Georgetown shouldn’t have trouble with Kyle and should win by at least 24 points.

Pee Wee:

#1 Round Rock over #2 Bastrop – OFFICIAL PEE WEE GAME OF THE WEEK – This could be the championship game part 1. I’ll take Round Rock by 18 points

#3 Kyle over #4 Georgetown – In 2 games they have combine for a total of 205 points. Every time they play it seems to be high scoring and coming to the end of the game. This is winner take all. I’ll take Kyle by 5 points.

#2 Hutto Orange over #3 Leander –– OFFICIAL ROOKIE FLAG GAME OF THE WEEK
#5 Cedar Creek over #7 Bastrop
#9 East Austin over #10 Elgin
