The Junior Division is still working itself out on who will be in the Final 4. My favorite this year finally lost but its ok. I am just glad they are having their best season ever. As for the rest of the division, Round Rock Navy seems to have cemented their spot in the Final 4. Last week I didn’t post my picks because I forgot and travelled across the pond to the UK, and I ended up getting 4 correct and 3 wrong. I took Cedar Creek, Elgin, and Kyle to win but they lost. Now onto this week’s picks:

#3 Elgin over #2 Cedar Creek – OFFICIAL JUNIOR GAME OF THE WEEK – Elgin dropped their first game last week to Round Rock Navy and Cedar Creek lost to Bastrop Black. Cedar Creek has been lucky to have a very favorable schedule, but Elgin has had to fight all season. I would love to have Cedar Creek win this one, but I see Elgin taking the win by 1 point.

#1 Round Rock Navy over #10 North Austin – Round Rock gets to sit back and finish the season with 2 teams at the bottom of the standings. Anything less than a Mercy Rule would be a disappointment.

#4 Georgetown over #6 Hutto – I like this match up. I almost made it Game of the Week. Both teams need this win to stay in the hunt for that #4 spot. It could go either way. What push me over the edge was Georgetown has lost 2 games with a combine score of 3 points. Those same team blew out Hutto. I’ll take Georgetown by 6 points.

#5 Del Valle over #13 Jarrell – Del Valle should have no problem in this game. Anything less than a Mercy Rule would be a disappointment

#8 Bastrop Black over #12 East Austin – Bastrop Black is eliminated from contentions for a Final 4 spot. It would be a miracle for it to happen. East Austin finally won a game. Not much to say about this one. I’ll take Bastrop Black by 20.

#9 Leander over #7 Round Rock Yellow – Both teams are not in the mix of a Final 4 spot. They are now just trying to get into a good bowl game. I’ll take Leander by 13 in an upset.

#14 Bastrop Maroon over #11 Kyle – Kyle has only scored 6 points all season. It is safe to say I believe Bastrop Maroon will win big here by at least 24 points.
