We are halfway done with the season, and we currently have 3 undefeated teams and multiple teams looking to fight it out for a Final 4 spot. This will be fun to watch, and I am not making it a secret, but I am pulling for Cedar Creek this season. Here are my week 5 picks:

#4 Georgetown over #1 Round Rock Navy – OFFICIAL JUNIOR GAME OF THE WEEK – Georgetown needs this win and Round Rock needs to make a statement. I believe this will be a great game but in the end I see Georgetown getting the win by 4.

#2 Cedar Creek over #14 Bastrop Maroon – Who would of thought that Cedar Creek will be making history in their organization. This is already the best season they have ever had. Now they just need to beat big brother Bastrop this week and next week. This week I have Cedar Creek as a 30 point favorite.

#3 Elgin over #12 Jarrell – Elgin gets to beat up on a very bad Jarrell team this week. Elgin should get a Mercy Rule win.

#5 Round Rock Yellow over #11 North Austin – Round Rock Yellow started off strong but drop the last 2 games and North Austin finally got their first win of the season. I don’t see Round Rock having much trouble and see Round Rock Yellow as a 24 point favorite.

#6 Leander over #13 East Austin – Will someone tell East Austin that the season is halfway over because they may want to actually show up in games. Leander should get a Mercy Rule this weekend.

#7 Del Valle over #8 Bastrop Black – Del Valle already beat 1 Bastrop team, maybe this game will be better than the last one. Bastrop should have all the information on how to beat Del Valle. I still don’t think it will be enough and have Del Valle a 7 point favorite.

#9 Hutto over #10 Kyle – Hutto shouldn’t have any trouble this week as a very bad Kyle team can’t seem to find the endzone. Hutto should win by 24.
