Is this a 2 team division? Halfway through the season Round Rock and Georgetown seem to be the heavy favorite to fight it out in the Championship. Still a lot of football to play. Here are my Week 5 picks

#1 Round Rock over #3 Georgetown –– OFFICIAL ROOKIE GAME OF THE WEEK – Are you ready to Rumble?!?!?! Is this a preview of what is to come in the championship? Both teams are in the top 3 for both offense and defense. After further review, I have Round Rock as a 4 point favorite in this game.

#4 Bastrop over #10 Kyle – Bastrop has rebounded from week 1 and now sets their sights on Kyle, while Kyle is still trying to figure out how to be compete in a full game. I have Bastrop as a 17 point favorite.

#5 Del Valle over #9 North Austin – After getting beat down 2 weeks in a row Del Valle gets a shot at a team that is struggling from top to bottom. Del Valle should rebound and get a Mercy Rule win.

#6 Leander over #11 East Austin – Leander has drop the last 2 games and now gets to play a East Austin team that has not even shown up in games. Leander should have no problem getting a Mercy Rule win here.

#8 Elgin over #7 Jarrell – Elgin has found a groove and won the last 2 games. Jarrell won in week 3 then had a bye last week. So this should be an interesting game. I see Elgin being a 7 point favorite.

#2 Hutto over BYE – Hutto gets to sit back and plan for their next big match up next week.
