Welcome to the 2022 CTYFL football season!! Tomorrow is opening day and with multiple new teams it will be interesting to see how they will do. So before I post my wonder picks, please know I have no family playing in any youth sports now. That means everything I do, you can be assured that it’s non-bias. If I don’t pick your team don’t get butt hurt just prove me wrong. There are my picks

Hutto over Del Valle – The Mighty Cardinals get their first real taste of CTYFL football as Hutto comes to town. Hutto should be in contention of a Final 4 and I believe will be too powerful to be stop in this game. Hutto by at least 2 touchdowns.

Round Rock Navy over East Austin – OFFICIAL SENIOR GAME OF THE WEEK – I am interested in this game to see how good East Austin is. I had to pick 1 game and so I chose this game. I have Round Rock Navy by 2 touchdowns.

Bastrop over Georgetown – Bastrop should be looking to get revenge after getting beat down last year and word I hear is that Georgetown is not as good as years past. So I see Bastrop escaping in a close game.

Unity over Jarrell – Unity is known to be contenders on all levels. Jarrell is playing their first CTYFL game. Unity gets to welcome Jarrell to CTYFL. I have Unity by 2 touchdowns.

Round Rock Yellow over Kyle – Kyle went winless last season and Round Rock had a team contending for a Final 4 spot. I have Round Rock winning by mercy rule.

North Austin Green over Elgin – Elgin had 1 win last season and North Austin was on top. I see no reason North Austin Green winning by mercy rule.

North Austin Blue over Leander – This is a tossup for me, but I am confidence that North Austin can pull out the win by at least a 1 touchdown.
