Welcome to the 2022 CTYFL football season!! Tomorrow is opening day and with multiple new teams it will be interesting to see how they will do. So, before I post my wonder picks, please know I have no family playing in any youth sports now. That means everything I do; you can be assured that it’s non-bias. If I don’t pick your team don’t get butt hurt just prove me wrong. There are my picks

Round Rock Yellow over Kyle – OFFICIAL JUNIOR GAME OF THE WEEK – Kyle and Round Rock was a great game last season with Kyle winning 7-6. I hope we get the same type of game, but I see Round Rock taking it this year.

Bastrop Black over Leander – Bastrop Black was the good Bastrop team and Leander was below average. I wouldn’t be surprised if Bastrop Black gets the win by at least 2 touchdowns.

Del Valle over Elgin – Elgin hasn’t been above average in a while and Del Valle is looking to make a statement. This should be that game for Del Valle. I have Del Valle in a close game.

Georgetown over Bastrop Maroon – Maroon was a terrible last season and didn’t put any points and 1 of those games was a 0-32 loss to Georgetown. I’ll take Georgetown by 3 touchdowns.

Hutto over Jarrell – Hutto is getting the honor of welcoming Jarrell to CTYFL. Hutto is a contender year in year out and Jarrell should be worried. I’ll take Hutto by mercy rule.

North Austin over Cedar Creek – North Austin won this game 39-0 last season and Cedar Creek doesn’t win more than 3 games a year. I’ll take North Austin by mercy rule.

Round Rock Navy over East Austin – This game is a question mark for a me and don’t know who to pick. So I will take the vet over the newcomer and take Round Rock by less than 10.
