I need the powerful prayers of your church warriors for a friend's family & me.
I am keeping my friend's name confidential, so am just providing the circumstances.
Several members of the family, mostly adults, share different levels of a house to make ends meet financially. One of my friend's grandsons has emotional problems, but refuses to seek help. This is very stressful for my friend & I'm sure other members of the family.
Please ask for prayer & healing for all of them. They are all practicing Christians.
TIA
For me: As you know, my husband, Frank, died April 24th, 2025.
He had many health problems & despite railings & safety measures in our house, he fell & broke 4 ribs about a year ago. He was injured other times because he attempted to do things that affected his balance.
I have not been well for years, but with a little help was able to live in our house. (I am getting too lengthy, but this is partially for background.)
When Frank was in hospitals & physical rehab & was away from home several times, our son decided that our house needed to be sold. I was not in favor of that because it meant trying to sort the contents of a large house, putting a lot of money into new carpeting, etc. & leaving a place we had lived in for years, where we had gardens, etc. In the fall, we moved to assisted living, where it is horribly expensive, but any assistance a person gets costs a lot extra. Frank needed more help & I slept poorly & so became exhausted & lost weight. Frank eventually had to reside in a nursing home & my health here has been a problem. For several months, I have had problems with my stomach, sometimes feeling queasy & other times having no appetite. When I weighed more, it didn't matter if I ate less, but since last summer, I have lost a lot of weight so that is a concern. I've had checkups, but I've been exposed to more germs, and the labs haven't shown anything helpful.
I know I'm allergic to certain foods & have been working on eliminating them to see if that could be a problem.
Again, apologies for this long email, but I need prayers for wisdom to make the right decisions about my health & for healing in general & happiness.
Thank you so much & TIA to the prayer warriors whose powerful prayers helped us many times.
Blessings in our Lord.
Jo-Ann
PS. Our son has helped us in many ways & is very concerned, but even very understanding & compassionate people misinterpret chronic pain sufferers as using their health problems as an excuse for not being well enough to keep commitments.
