While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen [are] temporal; but the things which are not seen [are] eternal. ( 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 )
Our struggles, our battles, and our daily toiling against the forces of this present darkness are naught compared with the marvelous riches and captivating glory to which we are called and in which we will soon partake. What matters to our suffering? What matters are our failures. What matters is any measure of suffering when held against the surpassing beauty and permanence of our heavenly hope!
