Most Bible books named after an individual (Esther, Job, Isaiah, etc.) are also written by them. There are, however, several exceptions!
The Old Testament writings titled with a person's name who was not the author include Joshua and Ruth (written by Samuel) along with 1 and 2 Samuel (penned by Isaiah). The New Testament books named after a person who was not the author include 1 and 2 Timothy, Titus and Philemon. All these books were written by the Apostle Paul.
