* Jesus' Birth! *
Jesus' birth took place in the fall of 5 B.C. Given the highly symbolic nature of God's Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah), it likely occurred on September 2 (a Saturday Sabbath).
Mary and Joseph were in Bethlehem when he was born to fulfill a Roman law requiring Jews go to their ancestral homes so that they could be taxed (Luke 2:1 - 3).
* Jesus' Baptism and Temptation *
Upon turning 30 in 26 A.D., the minimum age at which a priest could serve God (Numbers 4:3, 23, 47), Jesus got baptized by John the Baptist (Matthew 3:13 - 16).
After his baptism he journeys to the Judean wilderness where he will fast and be tempted by the devil for 40 days (Matthew 4:1 - 11). His fasting and temptation highly likely began on September 11 due to its significance as the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur). This day, in 26 A.D., was also the start of the Biblical Jubilee year!
* The Transfiguration *
In late September 29 A.D., less than seven months before his death, Jesus takes Peter, James and John up a high mountain (Matthew 17:1 - 9). He then, in a vision, shows them his spiritual glory and majesty as a member of the Godhead (2Peter 1:16 - 17)! After appearing in his glorified form along with Moses and Elijah (representing God's law and the prophets), he commands the men to not reveal what happened until after his resurrection.
