David's Jubilee
King David began to rule the tribe of Judah starting in 1010 B.C. David's rival, a son of King Saul named Ishbosheth, began to rule Israel's other tribes around 1005. In about 1003 B.C. Ishbosheth was murdered, clearing the way for David to rule all Israel. A Biblical Jubilee year had begun September 16 in 1004 B.C. which ran until October 6 in 1003. It is highly likely that David was anointed king over all God's people during a Jubilee year!
