Austin Byrne

Austin Byrne was a Royal Navy gunner on merchant ships WW2. He had contact with Cal Lloyd. Austin is 99 years old now and can't use the computer any more. His ships were the SS Induna and the Fort MacMurray. Hed love to hear from Cal or anyone in the Navy Guard. Ian Mitchell

I tried emailing CA Lloyd earlier this year.
He had a stroke last year I think and is having troubles.
I will reach out to some other AG and see if the have heard from CA recently.

About three months ago I answered an inquiry concerning Mr. Byrne that came to me via personal e-mail. I was able to supply an updated e-mail address for C.A. Lloyd, and literally within a day I heard back that the persons involved had e-mailed C.A. and that he had immediately responded. So at least as of April of this year, C.A. was doing well.

You are correct that C.A. had a stroke, the seriousness of which is unknown to me but apparently not disabling. He and his wife have sold their home and now live with a daughter, at last report. He changed his e-mail address; the address I provided, and which proved valid, is lloydcharles4126@gmail.com.

I now have info on a convoy but the point was getting
in touch with Austin Byme and I have no idea who
Ian Michell is. Complicated for sure but life is like this.

How does one get in touch with Austin now he is not using
