His obituary appears in the Press Herald newspaper website at http://www.legacy.com/guestbooks/mainetoday-pressherald/audbrey-arnold-bowles-condolences/176215522?cid=full. The obituary notes his merchant marine service. Also follow the "Gallery" link for a nearly 7-minute series of photographs of Mr. Bowles and his family.
