uss Goode and Sharon

My dad was in the Navy during WWII. He said he was assigned to these two ships, The John Goode and the Sharon, manning the guns. I cannot find either of the ships. Is there any information on either of them? He was in Sept 1943 to Dec. 1945

On this web site, select US merchant Marine.Then select "The ships" on the left margin. Then select liberty ships and the liberty Ship nomenclature. Scrool down the index of Liberty Ships and find the John Goode. Has a real nice picture. Hope this helps. Best Regards

Thank you so much for telling me how to find this. I will print it for my dad, Tom Martin. He will turn 95 in June. I have a lot of his documents and pictures but can't actually find him in any searches. He has a very common name and there were lots of them in the Navy at that time.
