Len Brophy a fine old gent..

Len will be 89 in Dec, I will be 89 in Nov.
and Francis Kent will be 89 in Oct.
And when I say to people 'I'll be 90
next year' they look at you in amazement
and say 'I can't beleave it, I hope I
look as good as you when I'm that age'.
And I of course reply 'well I don't
try to be this age but do you think
I might receive a certificate'?

Here's another old sailor who made 89 on 4/24/214. Hope we all make it to the big 90

It does sound strange ,when you say we will be 90 next year.I was just 17 on my first ship [Kenesaw Mountain a t2 tanker brand new out of Chester Pa.with a 4in 50 on the stern.Changed for a 5in 38 after I trip to Scotland.
