WOW! We have been covered with snow and REALLY COLD weather for some time. The weather experts agree with my wife and me that it is the worst weather for twenty (20) years or more. What do you know...suddenly it is warmer and has rained ALL the snow away. Indiana is a very interesting state as far as weather is concerned. I'll bet several of you guys are familiar with what I have described. We just hope we will get MORE of the warmer stuff and SPRING sneaks in VERY fast SOON! My personal problem isn't arthritis (so far) but instead it is a "malady" I had not heard of until I was lucky enough to contract it. It is called polymyalgia. It must be similar to arthritis pain except it is in the muscles of the body. It is the most severe pain I've ever had and the cold weather causes it to be almost unbearable. Notice the words ALMOST Unbearable. God in His infinite wisdom NEVER allows pain that is UNBEARABLE because when it reaches that point you will pass out. At least that is my theory. Thank God for all the wonderful things He HAS provided. I apologize for whining so much. An old, old sailor. Roy Brown

Roy, I and my wife live about 50 miles East of Mpls, St Paul so we get plenty of bad weather. The cold really was bad this year. I wanted to tell you my wife came down with Polymylagia in the winter of 1999, was she sick, the Dr. put her on Predinsone and she was on it for a year, but it cured her but it is a dangeroues medicine to take. But the disease has never returned. We were down Sout when she contacted it, what a ride home. Gerry Burr
