SS Wier Cook

My father was the Sergeant of the Guard on the SS H. Wier Cook on a voyage on April 1944 to May 1944. I have has original log and passenger list.

Is any one intersted in the information?

Hi I just bought this old note and was hoping to get more information about the signatures.I'm not even sure if this is the right ship but so far it is the only SS Wier I've found. Below is the description Given by the seller. Hope some one can help as I'm very interested to find out who these people were or even return the note to a surviving family member. IRELAND – 10 Shillings [20.12.1939, P-1B] Lady Hazel Lavery at l. River Blackwater river-mask on back. On the back of the note is written at top [see tape area] “S.S. Wier May 19-44” [I made a limited internet search on “S.S. Wier” but did not find any information. You may have better luck. I believe the “S.S. Wier” was the name of some ship or ocean vessel. SHORT SNORTER SIGNS FRONT OF NOTE: 1] George J. Newman [his name is vertical next to Lady Lavery] 2] E.M. Leighton [or Leightow?] 3] W.A. Rohrer 4] George S. Kraemer SHORT SNORTER SIGNS BACK OF NOTE: 1] D.M. Nave 2] Lt. Cecilio Paul 3] Lt. Dorothy M. Langdon 4] Jimmy Mills 5] [somebody] Gavin 6] Gene Neibell [or Neebell or Neebill?] and an address appears after his name but I can not make it out.
