Just finished another project that may be of interest to anyone researching the awards they are entitled to. I have transcribed the complete Navy and Marine Corps Awards Manual, which can be found at:

This is the 1953 edition, which includes all of the Word War II related awards. If you know what ships you served on, and when, you can verify what awards you are entitled to. Should be useful for anyone researching their own or a family members history.

I am trying to find some more Armed Guard related documents to work on, but seems that the source material is very scarce. I'll keep you posted.
