Hello,

My father never spoke of his service in the war. Recently I was going through his things and found he was in the Armed Guard.

Here is his info.

Joseph S. Majeski jr.
Trenton, NJ

Entered service March 21,44 at New York. He was 18.

Served on SS John T. Holt, SS Samuel Nelson and SSAT George Washington. From there he was transferred to USS Yorktown CV-10 and USS Barataria. He was discharged March 21,46 at Seattle, Washington. When he was discharged his rating was Electricians Mate EM3.

I have his graduating group photo from NY numbered 1263, 6-3-44.

Any help would be appreciated.
