I have been putting in a lot of sea time
over the past few years.
As you know, Winchester my home town is
only 15 miles north of Southampton the world's
cruise capital. So the temptation to book
to anywhere on the planet 2 or 3 times
a year was hard to resist.
Many of these big ships do a 'round the world'
(with a transit of Suez and Panama canals)
starting in Jan or Feb. An elderly friend of
mine has just booked up for his fifth.
It certainly beats an old people's home.
