DEar Ship mates, these months go by fast. Fran I'm having surgery on the back this next Wed. I'm worried about it but I can't go on with the pain in my back and not bein hardly able to walk 20 feet. I still fortunet enough to make it to 71 and the wife 85 with good health. We will be married 69 years this Nov. Have 9 children all healthy. God has been good to us. I wish when everyone writes they would say where they live. We live about 50 miles east of Minnespolis and St. Paul. I love the Packer foot ball team. If I survive the surgery Ok will post a message.
