To anyone that can help. I am trying to assemble photographs of the S.S. Helena Madjeska during her war service. My uncle who is 92 served aboard her durring WW2, as a gunner ( Armed Guard ). I am also in need of if available the ships war record. As he tells it it was used possibly as more than just a cargo carrier. Possibly as a communications monitoring ship. Anyway I am trying to assemble this for his kids as they really do not know about his war duties. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
