SS PAN ORLEANS was a cargo ship constructed by the Bethlehem Steel Company shipyard in Wilmington, Delaware, completed in March 1907. Her original owner was the Clyde Steam Ship Company and her original name was PAWNEE. She was sold to the Waterman Steam Ship Company and renamed PAN ORLEANS in 1940.
